  Whole School Weekly Bulletin 22/03/24

   

  Whole School Attendance: 92.5% - Remember to report absences to the school office by 9:00am

  Total Lates this week: 75 late marks – Children arriving after 8:45am will be marked as late and parents will be asked to sign children in via the screen in the school office. If you are struggling to get your child to school on time or have concerns about your child being late, our PFSA Mrs Bedford will be available most mornings to offer support.

   

  Whole School:

  • Did you know? Children who read and are read to are more likely to overcome disadvantage caused by inequality.

   

  • Next term’s clubs will be emailed to parents for booking next week.

   

  • Tycoon club will be selling Easter fun packs after-school on Monday.

   

  • Thursday 28^th March is the last day of term, school will reopen on Monday 15^th April.

   

  • Twilight after-school club will close at 5:15pm on Thursday, please ensure you have amended any bookings.

   

  • Please can you remind your children not to ride their scooters while exiting the school, there has been an incident whereby a small child has been knocked over and injured.

   

  • Bridgwater library has lots of events happening for Easter, see attached poster for further details.

   

   

  Year 3:

  • Swimming on Monday, this is the last session. Please remember your child’s swimming kit and towel.

   

   

   

  Year 5:

  • Parents/carers are invited to St Johns Church on Wednesday to watch the Year 5 Easter Assembly. Tea/coffee will be available at the church for parents/carers from 08:45am

  Whole School:

  • Did you know? Children who are read and are read to have better mental wellbeing and self- esteem.

   

  • There is still time to book for parents evening, please follow the link in your email, if you need another email sent, please contact the school office.

   

  • Easter competition is still ongoing. Entries need to be in the school hall by 9am on Monday 25^th March. For full details, please see the attached poster.

   

  • PTA bingo is on Friday, gates open at 6:30pm, eyes down 7pm. Please note: Children can attend but must be supervised at all times & they can play but not for cash prizes.

   

  • Dance club will be performing “Dance upon a dream” on Tuesday 21^st and Wednesday 22^nd May. Tickets are £2.00 and available to buy via Scopay.

   

   

   

  Year 1:

  • Rabbits parent assembly is on Thursday, the main gate will open at 2:30pm

   

   

   

  Year 3:

  • Swimming on Monday, please remember your swimming kit.

   

  • Tigers Museum of Somerset Trip is on Friday. Please make sure you have given consent and paid via Scopay. If you require a school packed lunch, you must order this via Schoolgrid before Thursday. If you are supplying your own packed lunch, you must cancel your order or you may still be charged.
