School Council & Art Ambassadors
Welcome to the School Council.
Every year a new council is selected by each year group via a voting system. Every pupil has the right to apply to become a member, to do this they need to put in writing why they think they are the right person to represent the school and their year group. The class then vote for who they think will best represent them and listen to the pupils at Eastover School. We meet once a week at lunch time with Miss Ashton. School Council selection will begin soon and the website will be updated.

School Council Fundraising
This term our School Council are supporting the charity School in a Bag.
This charity raises funds to deliver bags containing vital educational resources and eating and hygiene utensils to vulnerable, poor, orphan and disaster and war-affected children around the world.
It is hoped that each class will raise £20.00 - this is the cost of one bag. Every class has been given Smartie tubes to fill with 20 pence coins to help achieve this goal.
And there is a competition - the first class in each key stage to fill their Smartie tubes will win a prize of a tube of Smarties for every child in the class!
Thank you for your support!

Eastover Art ambassadors enjoyed a trip to East Quay Art gallery. They saw a range of artists at work, in particular Grayson Perry’s tapestries. The children then replicated the patterns, colours and style from the artist to produce a collaborative piece.
