Whole School:

Please be mindful when parking around the school and remain polite when speaking with our neighbours. There is NO stopping on the zigzags outside the school gate, this is to keep your children safe.

 

Please ensure meals are ordered by 11pm on Saturdays for the following week.

Januarys Sticky Questions!

We’re excited to reintroduce Sticky Questions—thought-provoking prompts designed to spark meaningful conversations and develop children’s oracy skills. Each year group will be exploring a different question over the course of the month, encouraging pupils to think deeply, share ideas, and articulate their thoughts clearly. We’d love for you to continue these discussions at home with your child, helping them build confidence in expressing themselves and engaging in dialogue. Look out for this month’s question and enjoy the conversations it inspires!

FS: If you wear a jumper on your head – is it a hat?

Year 1: How could a mouse and a cat be friends?

Year 2: Drum on the table with your fingers – did you make music?

Year 3: Is it more important for a child to do as they are told or to work things out for themselves?

Twilight Club are running some great activities during January. Click here to view the calendar, booking early is advised as places are limited. You can book your child’s place online via Scopay. Please speak to the school office if you would like to book your child onto Twilight club for the first time.

Important notes for year groups:

Year 1

Year 1 Hedgehogs class assembly is on Thursday the 22^nd of January at 2:30pm.

Year 2

Swimming is on Monday. Please make sure you are sending your children into school with their swimming kits and towels.

Year 4

Year 4 Barton Hall- Reminder to those who have signed up for the Barton Hall residential, the first instalment of £40 is due on the 30^th of January.

Year 6

Year 6 Residential- Reminder to those who have signed up for the year 6 residential, the second instalment of £50 is due on the 30^th of January.
