Whole School:

There are children with severe nut allergies in our school. We ask that you do not send any nuts or products containing nuts in lunchboxes or snacks. This includes items such as peanuts, peanut butter, mixed nuts, and products that contain nuts as an ingredient. All staff have recently been trained in anaphylaxis and allergy training in compliance with Benedict’s law.

If your child attends an after-school sports club, please ensure they come to school with a spare PE kit on the day of their club. This will allow them to change and take part comfortably in the session.

We have 6 red-topped school tables available free of charge. If you're interested, please contact the school office to arrange collection. Please note: you will need suitable transport to collect them.

If anyone has any good-quality toys that are no longer used or needed, we would be very grateful for any donations.

We are particularly looking for small-world toys such as:

• Dinosaurs
• Farm, jungle or safari animals
• Small trains and train tracks
• Dolls' house furniture
• Other imaginative play resources

We would also welcome larger items, such as:

• Castles
• Toy garages
• Dolls' houses

If you are able to donate, please bring items to Mrs Phillips in Hedgehogs Class. Thank you for your support and generosity.

KS1 Autumn Reading Challenge - Week 1 Results!

A huge congratulations to Otters Class, who are our first Reading Challenge winners with an amazing 106 reads this week, giving them an impressive average of 4.24 reads per pupil! What a fantastic achievement. Well, done, Otters!

In joint second place, Rabbits Class and Hedgehogs Class both recorded 68 reads, with an average of 2.34 reads per pupil. Great effort from both classes!

Foxes Class achieved 49 reads, with an average of 1.88 reads per pupil. Keep up the fantastic reading, Foxes!

Across KS1, children completed a total of 291 reads this week, giving an overall average of 2.67 reads per pupil. We are so proud of everyone's enthusiasm for reading and look forward to seeing the totals grow each week.

A special congratulations goes to Lachlan in Otters Class, who will be taking home Snuggles for the weekend! Keep reading, KS1. Who will be our champions next week?
