I have attached a document that sets out the expectations of home learning daily for your child to complete. Lots of you are uploading work for us to see on Tapestry which is brilliant so thank you. If you haven’t managed to upload anything yet we will be contacting you to see how you are getting on and support you with this. We know it is hard and very different to be learning from home but short sessions with breaks in between will help. We suggest that handwriting, phonics and maths are completed in the morning. Then in the afternoon reading/key words and then you can select an activities from the overview sheet to complete for example-art, knowledge and understanding of the word or physical. I hope this makes sense, any questions let us know.
Please remember to keep practising sounds, numbers, writing names and share choosing books. Please record anything exciting on Tapestry.
Your child has a Bug Club reading account set up (please find log in details in their yellow reading record). On Bug Club they have access to different books that they can read or have them read to them. Each book has quizzes for your child to take part in. There are also phonics games as part of this where your child can practise using and applying the sounds they know in the form of games. We can track progress and who is using this.
