Our year 4 football team tested their football skills against North Newton Primary recently.


Good fun was had by all in a very entertaining game which North Newton coming out 2-1 winners.

Well done to our year 4 football team who travelled to BCA for a football tournament.


The boys played some great football scoring some excellent team goals and demonstrated a vast variety of shooting, passing and dribbling skills.

Well done to the Eastover girls football team who represented Eastover at the Somerset County Finals in Weston Super Mare on Friday 17th.


Eastover who came into this tournament as Sedgemoor Champions and undefeated played brilliantly throughout.  After five group games and fierce competition Eastover finished with a record of played 5, won 1, drew 2 and lost 2 which unfortunately was not enough to progress to the semi finals.


Eastover were competitive in every game and played some brilliant football throughout.


Well played all.

A massive congratulations to the Eastover boys football team who emulated the girls by becoming Sedgemoor football champions.  The boys now progress to the Somerset County Finals in January.

In a strong 14 team tournament Eastover progressed to the final after topping our 7 team pool with wins against Churchfield (2-0), St Joseph’s (1-0), Somerset Bridge (3-0),
St John St Francis (3-0) and Northgate (6-0).

Eastover met Bridgwater College Academy in the final and after a fine team performance and two goals from Jakob Eastover ran out 2-0 winners to become champions.

A huge congratulations to the Eastover girls football team who recently became Sedgemoor Girls football champions!


The girls competed against 12 other local schools and and came through undefeated. Playing 7 games, winning six and drawing one.


The girls demonstrated excellent team play and work ethic as well as brilliant passing, dribbling and shooting skills.


Eastover have now qualified for Somerset County Finals later in the year.


Well done to all 10 girls.
