Headteachers Introduction
I am privileged to write to you as the new full-time headteacher and welcome you all back to school. The children have arrived smart and happy and ready to learn.
We will soon be letting you know of dates to come and meet your child's teaching team and for them to explain their curriculum and how we can work together to help all of our children to make good progress. Hopefully, you will have met Mrs Stacey, our new deputy head, at the gate. She is settling in well and getting to know the children quickly.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any concerns or teething problems, we would rather have an opportunity to meet with you to try to get things right.
We had an overwhelming amount of lost property at the end of last year, please write your child/rens' names in coats and jumpers/cardigans especially so that we can avoid you having to spend money on more uniform because it has been lost.
Just a reminder that children should have their hair tied back if it is shoulder length or longer and no sleeper type earrings should be worn. These are health and safety concerns so we will contact you if need be. We already have some cases of headlice so again, this is to protect all children.
Many thanks and we look forward to a great first half term.
