This includes items such as peanuts, peanut butter, mixed nuts, and products that contain nuts as an ingredient. All staff have recently been trained in anaphylaxis and allergy training in compliance with Benedict’s law.

Parents' Evening will be held on: Tuesday 20th October and Wednesday 21st October. Appointments will be available to book via the MCAS app from 6:00pm on Monday 5th October. If you have push notifications enabled on the MCAS app, you will receive a notification when booking opens.

Please note: Parents and carers of children in Otters Class will have their Parents' Evening appointments on: Monday 19th October and Wednesday 21st October.

For the month of October, Eastover will hold a word count reading challenge. All words read, based upon successful quizzing, will count towards a grand total for each house. October’s Sticky Questions…

Year 1: Would you rather be a tame rabbit or a wild rabbit?

Year 2: When should grown ups trust children as much as children trust grown ups?

Year 3: If you swapped brains with your teacher, where would you be?

Year 4: Why do we do the right thing when nobody is watching?

Year 5: What community is the most important to you?

Year 6: What are the most important things you cannot see?

Important notes for year groups:

Year 4

We would like to invite all Year 4 parents and carers to a short meeting about the Year 4 residential trip on Monday 5th October after school in Dolphins' Class. We are hoping to encourage more children to take part in this exciting opportunity, and the meeting will provide a chance to share further information about the trip, including activities, arrangements and what children can expect. There will also be time to answer any questions families may have.

Year 6

Please follow the link below to view the Year 6 London Trip PowerPoint presentation that was shared during the parents' meeting. We hope you find the information useful.
