Trips, clubs and swimming sessions for the new academic year are now available to book on MCAS and letters are attached to view.  After-school clubs will be starting again from the week commencing Monday 14th September.

If you believe you are now entitled to free school meals but are seeing a request for payment via the meal ordering app, you will need to email Kanpla directly with your order. Email: primary@impactfood.co.uk.

A gentle reminder that we are committed to being allergen-aware and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care. We kindly ask that you do not send any nuts or products containing nuts in lunchboxes or snacks. This includes items such as peanuts, peanut butter, mixed nuts, and products that contain nuts as an ingredient.

Our school fete is coming up soon! It is being held on Saturday 12th September from 11:00am to 3:00pm. There will be something for everyone, including a bouncy castle, food and drinks, fun stalls, a raffle, petting zoo, and lots of other exciting entertainment.

As part of our upcoming Eastover Primary School Fete, raffle tickets will be coming home in children's book bags. Tickets are £1.00 each or £5.00 per book. We have some fantastic prizes on offer, including: 1st Prize: £100 cash and 2nd Prize: £50 cash.

If you would like to purchase tickets, please return the completed slip along with payment to the school office.

We would love to see as many families as possible come along to support our school and enjoy a fantastic day. Please spread the word and bring your family and friends!

We're excited to be starting our Sticky Questions again this September!

Each month, every year group will explore a thought-provoking question in school. These questions are designed to encourage children to think deeply, share their ideas, listen to different viewpoints and take part in some fascinating discussions. We'd love for you to continue the conversation at home too. Some of the questions may not have a right or wrong answer, and a few might even spark some lively debate around the dinner table! The important thing is giving children the opportunity to explain their thinking and hear the opinions of others. So, get ready for some interesting conversations and thoughtful discussions. Here are

September's Sticky Questions...

Year 1: Would a giraffe make a good pirate?

Year 2: If you hear a song in a language you don’t know, can you still understand it?

Year 3: Is it ok to pay other people to do our chores?

Year 4: Does our planet belong to us?

Year 5: Does time go on forever?

Year 6: Would it be better to have fewer, larger countries or more, smaller countries?

Important notes for year groups:

Year 3:

Swimming sessions start on Monday. Please make payment using the MCAS app. Please ensure you are sending your children into school with their swimming kits and towels.
